Join VWI as a volunteer and help care for elephants in Heritage City—Jaipur, India. Support the local community in taking care of these elephants and their mahouts.
Volunteers will help mahouts, feeding and bathing the elephants. You need to wake early as the elephant starts early to give a ride to the tourists of Amber Fort. You will work around 3 to 4 hours per day, from 5 am to 9 am in summer and from 6 am to 10 am in winter. We have made working hours short as it has been discovered that 4 hours of working in the Elephant Village are already a hard day's work for volunteers. But if you would like to work more, you can join the afternoon and evening shifts.
